Perhaps no year in England’s recent history is more fondly remembered than 1966.
While cultural evolution and social change progressed unevenly across the country, the music, film, sport, art and fashion emerging from Swinging London – with Abbey Road, Carnaby Street and the King's Road at its epicentre – moved at an explosive speed that made waves across the globe.
This exhibition by Iconic Images, at our intimate gallery space at 402 King's Road, celebrates the magic and wonder of the key figures and events of that year.
Portraits include: David Hemmings on the set of Blow-Up!, The Yardbirds, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Sean Connery as Bond, Pauline Boty, and, of course, England’s own Bobby Moore.
Running until August 28
