Marilyn Monroe is photographed laying in bed with a gold cup at the guest villa of Joseph Schenk’s Beverly Hills estate in October, 1953. Schenk, one of the creators of Twentieth Century Pictures and chairman of 20th Century Fox, was one of the most powerful people in the film business at the time and played a key role in launching Monroe's career.
