Ike and Tina Turner are photographed performing at the Hungry-I in San Francisco in October of 1967. Wolman recalled of the electric performance, "The stage was only three feet high and the small round table at which I was sitting was so close to Ike and Tina and the Ikettes that I could see the drops of sweat on their necks and faces."
