Written by legendary frontman Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, the song sold over a million copies on its first release, and has re-entered the charts almost every December since. Gered Mankowitz photographed Slade more than 40 times over the course of his career, counting them as – besides colleagues and friends – a “truly great British band.” With Slade images reaching as far back as the 60s, Gereds archive also contains the iconic shot of the band donning red noses, which was used on the cover of their 1976 album Nobody’s Fools.

Edition of 50

Signed and numbered by Gered Mankowitz

C-Type Print

Buy English rock band Slade photographed for "Slayed" cover, 1972 in USA

This limited edition print is available to buyers throughout the United States through Iconic Images Gallery, and can be shipped to addresses including Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver and Phoenix.
