This January 26th marks what would have been the 100th birthday of the Hollywood great Paul Newman, whose legendary acting career encompassed five decades and more than fifty movie appearances. His performances earned him nine Academy Award nominations and one Best Actor Oscar for his performance in The Colour of Money. Fiercely handsome, with a square-set jaw and shining blue eyes, Newman’s is among the most recognisable faces from the second half of the 20th century. And he was exceptionally photogenic; the Iconic Images archive contains a stunning and diverse array of Paul Newman images.
