Carrie Kania, Creative Director
Carrie Kania studied art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she specialized in contemporary art and photography. Prior to Iconic Images, Kania was a Senior Vice-President and Publisher at HarperCollins, NYC, overseeing books published by five imprints. Now at Iconic Images, Kania oversees all publishing and curation and maintains a close relationship with the Iconic Images photographers. Over the past few years, she has edited or co-written more than a dozen books, including Every Picture Tells a Story by Terry O’Neill, Through Her Lens by Eva Sereny and the collections David Bowie: Icon, Always Audrey: Six Legendary Photographers: One Legendary Star and Jazz: The Iconic Images of Ted Williams.
Nicolo Amalberti, Gallery Director, Piccadilly
Nicolo Amalberti is an art professional with a strong track record across both the US and UK art markets, with experience spanning gallery development and artist representation. As Gallery Director at Iconic Images, he was instrumental in expanding the gallery’s presence, leading the launch of its flagship space in Piccadilly and shaping its exhibition programme and commercial strategy. He has played a key role in strengthening the gallery’s position within the international art market. A proud Italian from a small village in the country's northwest, he is now a happy adopted Londoner, known for his thoughtful approach to curation and his ability to build lasting relationships with collectors and institutions.
Stefania Tigani, Fine Art Sales and Exhibitions Director
Stefania is an art sales and exhibitions professional passionate about storytelling through photography. From Milan to London, she has curated and managed exhibitions that connect artists, collectors, and institutions worldwide. Leading global strategy, Stefania curates international shows, and oversees artist relations for some of the most recognised names in photography. Fluent in English, Italian, and Portuguese, she brings a multicultural and hands-on approach to everything she does.
Miguel Zapata, Fine Art Co-ordinator
Miguel Zapata hails from Galicia in the northwest of Spain and has been based in London since 2009. He is a musician and artist with an academic background in Fine Art and extensive professional experience at Newport Street Gallery and Tate Modern, where he spent the most part of the last ten years. Miguel recently joined Iconic Images following his passion for fine-art photography and pop culture from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
